Tiny But Mighty
Much had been improved in this home – a lovely family room, master suite and basement rec room – making this charming home in an established neighborhood all the more in need of a kitchen facelift. On the plus side was room for entertaining, schoolwork and play; on the down side, a tiny, dated kitchen through which everyone must pass.
With a fresh color palette in mind, clean stainless appliances and a bit of whimsy, this homeowner was determined her kitchen would become mighty! Gone would be the dated cabinets, Formica countertops, ceiling ventilation and narrow openings. In its place a stylish range and separate convection microwave able to handle multiple baking projects, a French door refrigerator to allow for thru-traffic, deeper wall cabinets for extra storage, roll-out shelf pantry, and glass display cabinet.
Brushed nickel accents, sleek apron sink and bridge faucet complement the shitake Caesarstone counters, glass tile, and white cabinets. The Tiffany blue and vintage tableware add the wow factor and speak to the owner’s love of chic and collectible. Watch this kitchen flex its muscle now!
